The making of a real, traditional Mennonite sausage runs through our veins. Never shall our Mennonite sausage come into contact with any added water, wheat, binders, fillers, or other non-traditional ingredients. There are only five ingredients in any real Mennonite sausage: pork, salt, pepper, cure, natural smoke. Each Mennonite extended family had their own special way of combining these five ingredients to create their own family tradition.
